Disabling type ahead in Look Up menu

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help with this problem I am having with ACT at a clients location. The user would like to disable the type ahead feature while using the Look Up menu. I found the box to disable the type ahead while composing an email but no choice for disabling type ahead anywhere else. Does anyone know if this is possible and where the option may be if it is?
