Some programs, such as Adobe Acrobat and Yahoo, attach toolbar addins to Microsoft Office applications. When they do that, Access applications often show a "You do not have exclusive use" message during start up as the offending addin tries to switch each form in the application to development mode so that the addin can be attached. This happens for every form resource in the application, so the annoying "You do not have exclusive use" message must be click-acknowledged many times whenever starting a large application.
Does anyone here know a means of locking out those pestering addins in order to avoid the annoying "exclusive use" message? Thank you in advance.
