Disabling toobar while Excel worksheet being edited

Hi all,
I have a COM add-in, a toolbar, written in VB, for MS Word and MS Excel. I want to disable the toolbar whenever user is editing excel worksheet. On searching i found this can be done using Application.onKey. How to implement this in VB code. Can any body help me with this?
