Disabling the Mixer Device Error in PM

I have a couple of sites presenting this error, most PC's do not have sound cards. and are configured as Phone Manager Pro.

"No Mixer Device available, Application will contiune with this feature disabled."

Turning the Play sounds option off does not help after the application is rebooted.

Version 2.0.13, I can remember a recent post regarding this but cannot find it. How do you disable this once and for good?

I have. I've been monitoring this thread to see if anyone posts a fix to it. I'll throw my hat into the ring as someone else experiencing this problem though.

I've completely cleared out PM by uninstalling and removing anything related to AVAYA in the registry to no avail.

This only happens on PC's without sound cards in them for us.
 
Mentioned this is a Phone Manager Citrix thread also. Try adding -nosoundcheck to the command line of the short cut used to start Phone Manager.

Have used this with beta of Phone Manager 2.1, don't know if supported by older versions but worth a try.
 
This did not work :( looks like it may only work in 2.1 PM.

I will let you know how go with FSG.

Also suffering with this problem

Have a client with a SCN containing a IP406,2 x IP403 & 2 x IP401 systems

All 275 users use Citrix and Version 1.4(27) .

Eveyting works OK,except occassionally some users lose their speed dial entries.

As the Citrix Servers do not have sound cards I cannot upgrade to Version 2 without fixing the NO MIXER error.

Need to upgrade to Version 2 for the new eConsole application.

How do i obtain Version 2.1 BETA to see if problem is sorted.
