Hi..
I am trying to install Citrix on Compaq DL 360 server, it just blue screens half way through the install. I have fond out by disabling the Integrated Lights-Out will solve the problem. I have tried disabling it in device manager, but it still blue screens. Is there any other way I can disable this or any other help on this please...

Many thanks

hi,
why do you think are Integrated Lights-Out the
cause of blue-screen ?

If you installation does not complete, I belive your
problem is more basic, as wrong scsi driver or hw failure
(memory,cpu).

I have installed more than 10 DL360 without using Compaq
CDROM . You have to get from the web or from CDs,
the driver of scsi-raid adapter and press F6 at boot
when system (very fastly) prompts this to you,
and complete installation.

Then you'll have many unrecognized device: the most important will be network adapter, but you can find it on Compaq CD ( it is a 10 Mb package) and your machine is not still in net (local or WEB)

The other device you cannot find on CD (eg Integrated Lights-Out ), you can download from WEB at HP site.

bye
