disabling .sh_history file

Hello all. I want to disable the .sh_history from a sh or ksh shell.

Please anyone can help me??

Try unsetting the HISTFILE variable perhaps?

Or making [tt].sh_history[/tt] a soft link to [tt]/dev/null[/tt].

I don't think sh supports .sh_history anyway?
