How would one go about disabling the RAID functionality on a Netfinity 7000 M10?

Remove the RAID controller, then re-attach the SCSI cable (from the backplane) to the onboard SCSI controller. The 7000M10 shipped with an onboard SCSI, not RAID. RAID functionality must be provided via an added card.

ok... this is what I thought... And yes, there is a ServeRaid card providing this functionality at present...

Thanks!

A word of caution. If you remove the ServeRAID controller, the SCSI controller will not have the data. You will have to restore the complete image from backup. I don't know why you would want to remove the RAID functionality. If it's regarding the "slow" I/O, please read my post about that in the other thread.
