Greetings all,

I am currently working on a system that requires automated processing of documents. The system uses authoring programs like Visio 2000, PowerPoint 2000 etc and is running on Windows 2000 Server. It will automatically start the authoring program, send it on to a postscript printer and then close the program.

However, the system cannot currently automate, for example when the system sends a document to Visio, it will process the document but before it completes, the print dialog box appears and requires you to click OK before it will continue. Is there any way of switching this off ?

Tarwn, I saw your reply to something similar before and thought maybe this forum would be of help.

Many thanks in advance for your help with this,

Cheers,

Benobee

Worksheets("temp").PrintOut Copies:=1, Collate:=True
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Worksheets("temp").Delete
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
Application.ScreenUpdating = True

the above is from within VBA and an excel document.
at a guess there is no reason why you can create an Excel object in vbs and then print something and choose not to display alerts. i am not familiar with scripting visio but i cant see a problem with it
