We have a client who wants to disable OWA on their Exchange 2010 box. They don't want to just disable it for all mailboxes, they want the site disabled completely. My plan is to remove the internal and external URLs, but some sites have suggested removing the virtual directory for OWA in IIS. I am concerned that this may affect other pieces of Exchange or maybe the syncing with o365. I don't have any reason to think that, but I'd like to avoid surprises. Has anyone every tried this, or have a better suggestion? Thanks!
