I had a user ask me "During a conference call today I had to switch to the other line to field a couple of important calls. What I didn't know until someone told me was that the phone system was beeping periodically on the line I left, presumably to remind the connected party that I was still on the other line. Is there any way to disable this, since it makes the ability to switch lines largely useless for conference calls?"
So my Nortel Gurus, is this possible? The system is a BCM release 3.7, build 2.4f and he is using a I2004 set.
Thanks in advance...
***I had orginally posted this in the wrong forum***
Someone suggested that I "TURN OFF BEEP, IN PROGRAMING GO TO ON HOLD SET TO SILENCE"
How do I do that via the web interface (Unified Manager)?
