Hi

I have a Targa VisionaryII-Notebook with a Touchpad.
I do Windows2000Pro on this Notebook.
I have attached a mouse to the USB port of the Notebook now.
Unfortunately, the Touchpad doesn't automatically turn itself off after attaching the mouse.
My question is how can i deactivate the Touchpad under Windows manually?

THX!!

This option should be in your BIOS. just enter it and look around for it.

The touchpad is a PS2 device on most laptops. I too have an active touchpad when using a USB mouse. Look for a way to disable PS2 in your BIOS. If there isn't a setting for that, then simply use a PS2 mouse and that should disable the touchpad for you. My laptop will only allow one PS2 device at a time. For my part, I like the USB mouse best, so I just simply got "Used" to it.
