disabling keyboard controls

hi all,

there maybe an obvious solution to this but i cant for the life of me find it!

Basically i want to put a flash game i made on my website as a .swf. the arrow keys in the game control the character. the problem is when pressing up or down, I'm also scrolling the page, which is at best irritating!

I am using Dreamweaver CS5.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, much love

you cant do this.

what you can do is maybe use javascript to put the focus on the game so that the arrows would correspond to that.

but this is speculation.

Ah ok, I'll look into that, Thanks Darryn.
I'm thinking it would probably easier to just switch the the control keys in the game to w,a,s,d or something, but will give both a go as i need to brush up a bit on my javascript.
