I would like to find a JavaScript that could prevent hotlinking of my midi files by other web sites (they play music on their sites by connecting to my midi files by my ISP) and thus steal my bandwidth. I already tried an .htaccess file with no result. Any help on that issue would be appreciated.

You can't do it with Javascript, you need to use a server-side language. Try googling for "php bandwidth theft script", or whatever.
