Hello guys.

I have 11 extensions from a PBX. 3 of which are located outside office. I want to disable the extension buttons on the telephones outside. Can someone guide me with this?

Regards,
Paul.

What system is it and what do you want to disable. outside co calls?

It's a KX-TES824 system.

I want to disable outside CO calls in only 3 phones. Not on every telephone.

The best way to do that is to restrict those extensions from dialing out. You should keep the CO buttons in case those extensions need to pick up a held call. The 824 is the only Panasonic system I don't work on (it makes me gag), but I'm sure there is restriction you can set like on all other Panasonic systems.

Put the extensions you want to restrict in COS 5 and then set denied codes xxx-xxx-xxxx to restrict everything. You may need to add 911 in the Emergency codes depending on the age of the unit.
