Disabling /enabling IE close button through script.

Hi
I am displaying a web page in which i like to prevent the user clicking close button or selecting ALT+F+X to close the browser when flag =false.ie i want to disable the close action of the browser when flag is false.
When flag is true,i want to enable it.
Is it possible through scripts or any other way of doing this.
I am using JSP's to get the dynamic content from the server.
