disabling datawindow and dropdownlistbox

In a groupbox, I have a datawindow and a drop down listbox.

I need to disable both objects clicking a certain button. The problem is, when the datawindow and the drop down listbox are disabled, naturally, they appear quite differently from each other. i.e. the drop down listbox is grayed and embossed while the datawindow retained its color/backcolor after disabling it.

Is there any way I could modify the dropdown listbox to not appear as grayed and embossed?

I want my objects to have the same interface even after disabling it.
