I'm developing a program using VB6 that uses an embedded webbrowser control to display Google Maps, however I keep getting the nag screen that Google maps won't function properly (and it doesn't) with compatibility mode enabled.

I've searched and searched and other than a registry hack that didn't work, I'm not finding a way to programmatically disable this mode with my webbrowser control.

I'd LOVE any ideas on how this might be accomplished :D

Windows 7
IE 11
VB 6

Thanks -- Sam

Which "registry hack"? There's an official - but perhaps underdocumented - registry setting to control browser behavior when a Web Browser Control is embedded into other applications, and that works fine for me. Google FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION for more details.
