In flash how can I disable buttons? (I have animations where they fly around and I don't want them to do mouseover or work when the mouse is over while they're flying around).

Disabling buttons during animation

if inside of a movie clip, simply move the clip to a second frame where the button is replicated (copied in place), but where it's behavior is change to a graphic only symbol. It will thus be inactive. When the moving stops, send the clip back to the previous frame where the button will again be activated.
