Hello All,

I would like to go about stopping any attachment from being forward and sent out that are not .pdf files. So the exchange server 2003 will take in all default attachments but only allows for .pdf files from going out.

Also, is there a way I can encrypt all email sent from the exchange server and is this even a wise option.

Hi,

Regarding allowable attachments, I would implement this using your AV.

We use AVG and it has this functionality.

Thanks.

I am not aware of a way to do this without third party solutions and agree with blakey that the best way to deal with this is probably your anti virus solution.

I use antigen for this.
