I have a textbox that I would like to disable. But in looking through all the methods for textfields I don't see it. How do I disable input? Thanks

Is this the correct way to disable text, just change the value of input to dynamic?

TextField.type

Availability Flash Player 6.
Usage TextField.type
Description
Property; Specifies the type of text field. There are two values: "dynamic", which specifies a dynamic text field (cannot be edited by the user) and "input", which specifies an input text field.
TextField.type = "dynamic";
Thanks

Is your textbox an input textfield? And what do you mean by disabling text exactly? Regards,

I've posted it at:

What I did was simply change the textbox for the door name from input to dynamic.

It's ok to add and remove items from this page. It's just a bunch of bogus info. I didn't put a lockfile on it. So if someone else looks at this at the same time you could get some strange results.

I want to be able to load some thumbnails on the right. I need to upload pictures. Can flash do that? Or do I have to use some html somewhere else? Thanks

By the way, I just want everyone to know I didn't choose the font on this page, my brother did.

My choice font is in the Home and Email buttons.

Maybe if we all take a vote on it I could change his mind about papyrus (and egyptian font??) duh! I like Italiante and MariageAntD myself.

I hate posting pages when I don't have control over design.
Thanks

Sorry, I prefer your brother's choice of font.

As for the rest of your question, you just confused me more! Regards,
