Is there any feature code or other way to temporarily disable a set from being used? Furthermore is there a way to control one set from another set? Here's the scenario...
We have a phone sitting on a ledge outside the high school office for student use. The vendor who installed the system put a toggle switch in the line to turn the phone on and off. (by actually diconnecting the line via the switch) This is a pain because everytime it's turned on you have to wait for the set to initialize, also somehow I can't believe this is good for the system. Secondly, in the evenings our receptionist unplugs the main set and the CAP module and locks it in a drawer because they don't want people being able to use that phone. ( It sits out in the open)
Thanks,
