Hi! I was wondering if it is possible to change the disabledbackcolor of a checkbox. I tried to manipulate on the properties window but i still get the same boring grayscale disabledbackcolor. How can we do this? thanks

I believe the check box is actually a Windows setting. The DisabledBack color is only for the associated text.

The disabled colors refer to the Caption on the checkbox, not the checkbox itself. That's controled by those "pesky" Windows settings!

Hi channelmaster,

You can't do it (at least, not in VFP 7.0 or earlier).

This is one of those settings that are supposed to be controlled by the Windows Control Panel. As programmers, we should respect those settings, which is why Microsoft has not given us the ability to override them.

I recently had the same problem, and I spent an hour or two trying to figure out a workaround, until I eventually gave up.
