One of my teachers is running Appleworks 6.0.4 on a G4 Tower with OS 9.2.2. When he attempts to print to his HP Deskjet 970Cxi it brings up the Printer panel but when he returns to his document/spreadsheet the "File" and "Edit" options on the file menu are both greyed out and even the hotkeys for those items are disabled. I have deleted preferences for Appleworks and the Deskjet to no avail. I updated his OS from 9.1 to 9.2.2 also to no avail. Any Suggestions?
