Disable Windows 2000 quick launch bar via GP's

Is it possible to disable the quick launch bar in windows 2000 or XP via the GP's?

If so, please indicate how.

well you can make the setting change and then lock them from getting changed...

Use the Group Policy setting
"User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\Enable Classic Shell"
which will disable the Quick Launch bar completely.

If I do that waht other features will be disable?
