Disable Virus Scan for Backup Exec Ver 8.0 Server Edition.

Hello,
I would like to install McAfee virus scan for an NT server. The server has Backup Exec Ver 8.0 Server Edition which has a virus scan program within it. Should I disable the Backup Exec's virus scan program? If so how should it be done?

I have NAVCE running on my servers. In 2 years BE's anti virus has never had a problem with it. I would just leave BE's alone. I think the only time it checks anything is during the backup.

Unless I'm wrong, I just see it as another level of protection.
