Does anyone have ideas how to disable the USB ports so that the user cannot use USB port under Windows 2000 Professional? But we're still using NT 4 server.

Thanks.

you can disable through device manger, click on USb ports and disable it.

Knowledge is a key of success.

do you want to disable, or disable and prevent the user(s) from re-enabling?

Yes, I want to disable and prevent the users to re-enable it. Any ideas?

Go into the PC's BIOS, there's likely a Disable option there.
