Hi. Let me start by saying I'm not an Access expert by any stretch of the imagination. 
I'm hoping someone can help me out. What I'd like to do is fairly simple: I'd like to DISABLE the "Print" icon (and the File-->Print command) from a report. If a certain condition is
true, I'd like to "grey out" or remove the print button from the toolbar and remove/grey out the File-->Print command for this particular report. Is this possible?
If that's not possible, I'd like to see about a different way of doing a Print Preview without allowing the option to print. Is *THAT* possible?
The reason I'd like to do this, is I'm installing security in an application where we don't want to allow a user to print a record if he/she edited it (a supervisor should). I'm using Access 97 for this, but could go to Access 2000 if necessary.
Any help would be VERY much appreciated!
One thing I forgot to mention is this application uses VBA script, of course. A new bit of info I found out is I can remove the PRINT icon from the toolbar (manually, by right clicking on the toolbar, going to customize and right-clicking the item I want to remove from the toolbar - the PRINT icon). So this seems possible. But I wouldn't know how to program for that. Also, I couldn't find a way to manually remove the FILE-->PRINT item (or disable it).
Any help would result in a Christmas or Hannukah card this next holiday season!
