I'm guessing that the answer to this question is probably "NOT NO, BUT HECK NO", but here goes.....

A client of mine was asking me if there was a way to disable that annoying little box that pops up when he opens one of my Excel files containing various VB scripts. Now, he's able to adjust the Excel settings to do this on HIS computer (if that option exists), but he's NOT able to adjust the settings on the hundreds of OTHER computers in the organization....so the disabling would need to be done programatically....

Any ideas?
Thanks!

As far as I know this can be done only in 2000. You must store the templates in Application Data\Microsoft\excel\Xlstart for personal or
Office2000\office\Xlstart for global users. When the users access this the pop up box does not display.

This has already been addressed in a couple of threads:

thread707-98772

in < 2000 you can use
Options.VirusProtection = False
