Hi all,

I'm trying on my win2000 Pro version to disable the control panel for all the users except the administrator. I already tried a lot of things but It do not work properly

The win2000 Pro is connected to a network. domain = vesalius. So users on this machine logon with inf16 password and choose domain: vesalius.

How can I set this machine up so the control panel is disabled.

The server is win NT4.0 (but I don't want/can/may change the configuration of the server).

Is there any solution for this?
thanks in advance.

you can go throught policies ...
or you could just change the security on the .cpl files located in the system32 folder. the cpl files are the components located in the configuration panel.

regars,

Nic
