Is there any code to make the tables in a database somehow disabled or allowing no edits
as it is in the forms?

Hi

You could set up Access security, and buy selecting the appropriate rights for given users you could make tables readonly to those users

sure,
set the property of your form that relates to your table to:
AllowEdits = No

Hi Pampers, yes I know the Ten Commandments. But it's all up to the developer. I'm just telling samotek that if s/sh doesn't use Access security, any user can access their tables from the back-end or from a new blank db or from holding down the shift key or from hitting F11 etc etc etc....
