Disable system-wide ring before AA picks up? 1

I have a Partner R3.0 with a 2 port Partner Mail 3.x pc card system. We also have caller ID. For Caller ID to work, the line needs to ring 2 times. This is annoying. Is there any way to either mute the first two rings, or to assign them to ring at a dead extension until VM picks them up?

I don't think so. If I remember right, only phones that ring on incoming lines receive the Caller ID....

Put your phones on NO ring, set your VMS Ring Delay to 2 rings, put your operator's phone on DELAYED ring, so you don't miss calls if the VM dies or both ports are busy.
