Hi everyone,

I can't seem to find anywhere how to disable SSL2 on an XP box. Unfortuantely I have to have this OS install with IIS5.1. I need to use strictly SSL3 or TLS but not SSL2 for security reasons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These things are more with the application in question than with the OS as a whole. forum41 might be a better bet to get a proper answer...

Thanks Glen999. As you see from my post, i was pretty specific. Although I run other OSes and IIS versions i came here for this particular answer strictly related to the two: IIS 5.1 and XP. I Googled before. The Microsoft link is for 2008. I've made changes to the registry keys under the protocol section before but XP refuses to drop this channel. As a result box fails the security tests.

thanks again for any help.
