Guys, before I raise a ticket with the support team: Is the a way to disable the hands free speaker phone on the 53 series phones? Any COS option to disable this?

This customer complaints that other users talking through speaker phones distract everybody else...

cheers,

Daniel

Sounds like an education program or code of conduct is required.

As per usual everyone wants the phone system to be able to cope with peoples stupidity.

Having said that i don't think it is possible via COS or system programming

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

and due to an endless stream of MiCollab , MiCC issues
Life would be simpler If only they tested products properly before releasing them .....

My first thought was the same as Billz66

My second thought was headsets

my third thought was the "It could be Worse Program"

My first thought was programme a headset key turn the headset on and then deprogram the key....think it should work

At wireman50

Headset mode causes issues with the hookswitch that are very obvious when not using a headset.

One of my most common trouble calls is from users accidentally enabling headset mode
