Bellsouth is coming by to "move" 3 of my T-1 circuits to a new MUX and I know they will be very busy so I want to know how I can disable individual channels? I'm not good on the Option11 switch but I know how to STAT the card and see which channels are busy. I need to "busy out" or "disable" idle channels so nobody uses them as they go idle. Then when it's empty I can make the change and renable all the channels. The only thing I know how to do is disable the entire card in LD 60. Thanks for any help!

LD 60
DSCH L ch -->l=loop ch= channel

you could also use the DISI L command. This will disable all idle channels and disable the loop as soon as all channels are idle - you can't leave the load though. or once you get back in ld 60 re-issue the disi L

CAREFUL!!

Before you DID the loop you have to go into LD 96 and DIS DCH x. This may cause all of the channels to drop anyway, so the DISI gets you nothing.

DISI is great on MCDN (SL-1) connections, but Q.Sig and others will kill all channels upon the DCH drop.
