I have a Citrix 1.8 machine with two NIC cards. One NIC card is for the Network and the other serves as dedicated backup LAN segment for our environment. When I do a qserver from another machine it reports the IP address of the server as the IP address of the backup card not the actual network. Is there a way to disable the second NIC from responding to the request?

I know this can be done in dual-homed W2k MetaFrame servers, but I haven't tried it in NT4 TSE;

1) Disable NIC 2
2) Stop the ICA Browser service
3) Restart the Browser
4) Re-enable the NIC

ICA should now advertise only on the NIC that was active when the service started.

Hope this helps
