Does anyone know the registry change that needs to be made in order for the remote user to be able to see whats going on when someone uses a Remote desktop connection. At the moment the screen locks saying that only the administrator can unlock the screen. I don't want to use remote assistance because that would require the user asking for assistance rather than an IT person just remotely accessing their pc to show them how to do something.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I always used net support school google it and you will find a site for it, its a teacher/client program which runs on a plugin. Nice and simple and nice and cheap

Using RD will lock the local console, there isn't anything you can do about that. What you can do is have the user send out a Remote Assistance request that is good for up to 99 days before assistance is needed. Maybe there would be a way to automate or resend this request every 99 days.
