Disable ring tones on incomming calls

Is there a way to disable the ring tones on incomming calls when the user is currently on the phone.

I have gotten a couple of complaints that the ring tone is to loud or bothersome.

Go to the extension and under capabilites set DND on busy to y (yes).

Will that not enable them to recieve phone calls while they are on the phone????

That will send back a busy tone instead of call waiting while they are on a call.

Ok... Thats would solve that problem but create another... I will just tell them they have to deal with it..

If I'm not mistaken, DND on busy kicks back a busy tone for internal callers, but external callers still hear ringback and will go to voicemail, etc if unanswered. If there are mutliple appearances (or multiple intercom keys), the user will see the second line flash, but will not hear any ringing.

I would think that would depend on a call forward no answer or busy on the extension. Or if the prime set is set on the target line.
