Is there a way of doing this? We want to enable outbound transfer but at the same time disable remote access to prevent toll fraud.

The best thing to do is build a filter restricing all outbound dialing and assign that filter to the CP dn's. Then put in an over ride of the numbers that you would like to allow for outbound transfer.

Outbound Transfer is enabled in Class Of Service, deny it for the mailboxes required.
For the mailboxes that have it allow you MUST use SECURE passwords unlike 1234, 6 to 8 digit passwords work best.
Almost all case of Toll Fraud are because a mailbox was allowed Outbound and that the mailbox had a weak password.
The end result is change your passwords.

As for Remote Access you may need to explain what you mean.
If you have Auto Attendant then not much you can do and not really required.

Yeah thanks for the info. I already know about COS, I mean disable the remote access all together. By default, you can press 88 (or ** in UK) whenever call pilot answers to get to the remote call pilot interface

Try setting Return To AA off or N
Its purpose is to tell a caller where to go after listening to an INFO but it might work.

In North America its 88 if the mailbox is set to Callpilot mode (PBX version) or if NVM Norstar Voice Mail mode (default) then its **.
