I have a user that is running Windows 2000 Pro. and she does not want to receive print notification messages sent via net send from our print server. The printer is right next to her and she prints often. The printer is installed on the Windows NT 4.0 Server print server which has installed all of our printers and she prints through this server. I do not want to disable print notification for all our printers, but I will allow for disabling print notification for just Printer4.
I would be prefer to just disable receiving the message on her client computer but I do not wish to stop the net send service. If there would be a way to mute net send messages from our print server, this would be fine, too.
I know installing the printer drivers locally on her computer would work, but I do not wish to do this unless it is the only other way.
How should I stop her computer from receiving print notification messages?
