You Do Not Receive Print Notification When You Print to a Network Printer in a Domain

If Linney doesnt have the answers, then no one does...but alas, it seems the end of the world has come...

For first solution, Print document properties is already unchecked.
For second, thats for XP and doesnt seem to be a name-string problem.

But heres how i fixed it...
When the notification popped up, I clicked on the the little wrench in that pop up window.
I then hid the notification that was hi lited. its all gone.

Im sure theres an easier way, but that whole Action Center/ Notification thingy has me cornfoozled, its not very user friendly IMO.
Oh well, just more stuff to learn, will look good on a resume.

Go to Devices and Printers (Start ->Devices and Printers).
Click on Print Server Properties.
Click on the Advanced Tab.
For a local printer: Uncheck "Show Informational notifications for local printers".
For a network printer: Uncheck "Show Informational notifications for network printers".
Click OK.

Hope this helps.
