Disable Outlook

We recently moved to Notes 6.0.1 and I have a user that whenever she tries to email through IE it will pull up Outlook instead of Notes. If we change the programs to Notes in IE it will work until the next day. I have disabled messenger in the GPO and have set IE to Notes in the GPO but the problem still resurfaces the next day. Is there anyway to disable Outlook all together, at this point i'm not even sure that uninstalling Outlook would resolve the issue.
 
Hello,

I would check the following:

- File, User Preferences, Mail, Internet, "Default Email Program". Check both boxes.

If that doesn't work, I would check to see if any local policies are being loaded at startup. If your using AD, it could be pushed out at boot.
