I have a form that opens maximized and would like to get rid of the min/max button.

I have set the followig on the property sheet:

Border Style - None
Control Box - No
Min Max Buttons - No

However the min/max buttons is still visible.

Any suggestions and how to remove the min/max button???

Thanks!

DH:

With the settings you have, the Min/Max buttons for the form should not be displayed.

Are you referring to the Min/Max/Close buttons for Access itself?

If so, I don't think you can hide them. I have not found a way yet.

I am referring to the form min/max button of the form itself. This is located directly below the min/max, close buttons for access itself.

For some reason when the form is maximized the min/max button still appears and I can't get rid of it.

Any future solutions would be appreciated.

DH:

I think if you set the form's Pop-up property to Yes that should do it for you.

Hi
I have had the same problem, and i found that using Access '97 these form properties didnt always seem to work. But now i am using Access 2000, it is fine, i think there is a small bug in Access '97

I think the problem here is that when a form is opened maximised (in Access 97 anyway), the entire data-base is considered maximised and the control, min and max buttons that you see are actually relating to the data-base and not simply the form. The effect you're after is only visible when the objects are not maximised.
