hi,
im in a school network of windows 2003 domain controller and several windows xp clients.

Users are sharing their user accounts with their friends and login to multiple computers using the same user account. Is there any successful technique to disable multiple logins.

I had a look on limitlogin but somewhere along the process i was getting error: “The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized”

Has anybody successfully implemented limitlogin and would like to share the knowledge please .

In 2003 Server you can only limit logon's with Terminal Services. As for third party software as you have experienced there could be some issues.

Yep, I've used limitlogin successfully although it was some time ago now. There was a thread on here about it as well last year some time and I think that 401 error was mentioned.

I can't find that thread right now, going from memory you have to enable Windows Auth on the site in iis that limitlogin runs on.

Or something along those lines, as I said it was some time ago now..
