I do not have the option to use the popular dll to help with this is there another way ?

I am using office 2003, I have placed a msgbox on the on wheel event to slow the wheel down. But I still get a few advances in the record. I made a query to delete blank records but that doesn't help for the records they destory if they spin the wheel the other way.

Any suggestions ?

You could use a textbox that requires the user to enter a unique ID and use that to load one record at a time into the form.

Thanks, Remou that was my next thought also, I was hoping there were an easy fix to turn the wheel off. I will give your suggestion a try and let you know how it works, I am 100% certain it will since I use a similar routine else where.

Thanks PHV but I can not use a DLL. Our IT dept frowns on anything new.

THANKS !!

PHV & Remou I have used both of your suggestions to make this bullet proof. If IT complains I have one to fall back on.
