How do I disable the top right maximize square button?
That is, when I export -- eg, a 500 x 500 -- movie, how do I let the viewers view my flash movie in that original size without letting them hit the maximize square button?
You would have to open a "chromeless" (without borders or those top-right icons) popup... But that only works with IE and not with Netscape that insists on keeping those icons no matter what! Regards,
a little note about the chromeless window, apart that it only works on ie, it is also a memory hog. I dont know about u guys using it, but i've had complaints from site visitors that sometimes thier computer becomes a bit sluggish. It looks great, that's why i opted for it, but when I got several complaints about it, i had no choice but to replace it with conventional window.
by the way, OLD, i was trying to find dave's flash pop-up, the one that looks like a chromeless window with just a white on blue X on the top right. any idea where it went? I tried the FAQ's of this forum and didnt find it there. maybe under a different title?
no return favor needed, but i may opt for your suggestion. Im still developing several websites and hasn't got the time to market some of them myself. Maybe in a couple of weeks or a couple of months, i may have to ask you for some marketing point. thanks in advance .
thanks, i'll make time to read it once you sent it. you can, send it to jeff@a2zglobe.com, or if my email address is wiped out (just like nomsg's) could u at least post a link here directly to that document?
nomsg, sorry if i responded a little too late. i was busy yesterday, deadlines and everything.
