disable mapped network drive history in Windows NT/XP/2k/2k3

Dear sir

When the client (win xp/nt/2k) browse or map network drive.
the os will automatically store the mapped network drive.
when uesr restart the computer, the os also remember the the mapped network drive.
i want to ask...
whether i can disable the "remember the mapped network drive" function by edit registry or group policy instead of using script/batch to delete mapped drive.
