Is there a way to disable drive mapping before connecting via VPN? Problem is if user with mapped drives connects to a network via VPN where those mapped drives don't exist, when you try to open My Computer it takes a long time while those resources are tying to be found.
Thanks

Is this by chance a Windows VPN? If so, you can choose in the advanced tcp/ip properties (under advanced) to not use the remote computer's gateway, but rather use your own. This way, the drives will still be mapped. Or, you can go to the properties of the mapped drives and uncheck the "reconnect at login".
