We have an AD forest with top level domain.
Below that we have 5 more domains.
I have control of one of these lower level domains and was wondering whether it was possible to turn off KCC on our domain (leaving it as it is in the rest of the forest).
Even better would be to be able to turn it off on specific sites in our domain.
I have found a MS article on how to disable the KCC. However it is not clear whether this is just for a site or the whole forest.. Article ID 242780.
I want to make sure about this before I touch anything.. Yes, I am happy with creating connections and have very good reasons for wanting to turn off the KCC (stopping unwanted replications from other same level domains).
