Disable internet explorer - Help

Hello,

Is there a GPO that can prohibit users from using Internet Explorer? We are doing lots of transactions online and since there is a vulnerability with IE i would like to STOP temporary users from using the IE browser. I have aleady deployed firefox.

Please help - any suggestions also welcome!

Put the users in a special OU, if it is not everyone you want to block, and then setup Software Restrictions. Browse for Software Restrictions in this forum and you'll find the link or answer on how to.

Or, since the patch is already available- just apply the patch.

Auto Updates/WSUS should have it ready to go, if you are set for it.
