Hi guys.
I'm running an old PC (Win98SE) which acts as a peer to peer communal file dump/server for the people in my house.
More out of interest than necessity really, but is there any way to stop the Win98 GUI from loading (thus saving some resources) but still have full functionality from the network point of view?
I very rarely need to access this computer directly so having no conventional desktop is not an issue, as long as there's a way to get the GUI back (via a reboot) when needed.
Thanks for any pointers.
Regards, Andy.
My pathetic attempts at learning HTML can be laughed at here:
